FROG @ease Test Strips are unique because the SmartChlor technology self-regulates the chlorine level, meaning regular test strips will show a confusing low free chlorine level and high total chlorine level. These specialized strips simplify testing by providing specific indicators for the FROG system:
SmartChlor Out Indicator: This is a single color on the strip. If the color is darker than the one on the bottle label, the cartridge is fine; if it is lighter, it is time to replace the SmartChlor cartridge.
